Zion National Park - June 2011
Zion National Park was a destination of ours for the longest time. Comprised of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, Zion Canyon boasts spectacular views, and world-renowned hiking trails. We started this day in line at the park gates and were the third person to enter the park that day.
Heading into the park, there was one goal that day: hiking The Narrows trail. Much to our disappointment, a quick check at the ranger station would show that The Narrows was closed due to abnormally high snow melt that year. Dejected and disappointed, the course moved to the next challenge to complete - Angel's Landing.
